" We're all here because we are different. We are more than human."

I'm not going to lie but this trilogy ( There has to be a third book, you know because of the war that's about to happen. ) is not for me but that's just me.

I found that the book was very slow in the beginning and it dragged although it was action packed but it's written in short brisk sentences. (Is there a name for that?) I don't know if that's good or bad. *Facepalm*

Anyways, the writing style did improve since the last book and I found that there is nothing wrong with it.

It was very confusing with the touch and go and there's so many people coming together to stand against the Horseman and that was excellent.

What I didn't expect was the sudden romance. (Can you see me lifting my eyebrows in Questioning? ) Gabriel and Claire, Nathan and Celes (Who happens to be a freakishly old woman in her eighties but the green ore keeps her from growing old)

Adin is still an A-hole and evil, considering he has a black soul, and he wants to kill his brother but it's up to Gabriel to kill him first (he's the only one who can do it.) But he refuse to.  (It's amazing how Gabriel can still throw tantrums.)

From all the characters, I like Thaddeus the most. He seems to be always there to give a voice to reason.  (If that makes sense at all.)

The Horseman are a new addition to the family,  they infect people to build an army of their own. It's up to all the alliances to come together and stop them. (DUM-DUM)

The book ends where they are basically agreeing to war, unfortunately there's no two ways about it.

I'm glad I got this book off of my shoulders, like I said in my review of the first book, Sci Fi is not my cup of tea but maybe it's yours.  So I do recommend this to everyone who loves Sci Fi and is looking for an unique story. (Which this book was.)
